Today, Mayor Shawyn Patterson-Howard was excited to cut the ribbon of our newest business McKissack and McKissack and welcome CEO, Cheryl McKissack-Daniel to their new regional office right here in the City of Mount Vernon. McKissack is the oldest minority/women-owned professional design and construction firm in the
United States. A family-owned business for more than 117 years, McKissack has been a leader in planning, design, and construction of more than 6,000 projects, proudly upholding the standards of excellence established by its forefathers. Currently, McKissack & McKissack is the Project Prime/Lead for The New Terminal One at JFK International Airport, as well as involved with some of New York’s largest projects including:
● LaGuardia Airport
● Columbia University, Manhattanville expansion
● Harlem Hospital renovation
● Atlantic Yards
● Medgar Evers College School of Science
● Henry J. Carter Specialty Hospital & Skilled Nursing Facility NY
