Today, over 200 young people were sworn into the 2022 Summer Youth Employment and Training Program! This summer, each of them will have an opportunity for career exploration through hands on experience in the community at over 30 worksites. These programs will provide youth with work experience that will strengthen their career foundation specializing in entrepreneurship, clean energy, cooking, health care Gun-violence prevention and much more! Special shout-out to the Mount Vernon Youth Bureau staff led by Director Debbie Burrell-Butler, parents and our federal, state and local partners. Have an amazing summer!
