The Mount Vernon Youth Bureau CAPP serves youth ages 10-21. We provide comprehensive, evidence-based, age-appropriate sexual health education. CAPP also works to ensure that adolescents are accessing confidential reproductive health and family planning and prevention services and ensure that youth participants are appropriately referred to health care services, and social service providers as needed.
Support community-based efforts to improve sexual health and other health outcomes for adolescents.
Promote preventive health care services, including reproductive health and family planning services for adolescents and LGBTQ+ youth members.
Support social-emotional development, health, and healthy relationships for adolescents.
Support and engage parents to improve parent/child communication.
